How availability works on our website:
Some services – tours, for example – need to be scheduled for a specific date and time. When that’s the case, you can set the date and ticket type on our website and we’ll contact you via e-mail with details about availability, start times, or anything else you might need.
Once we’ve agreed on the details of your date-specific order, we will finalize your reservation. Until then, it can be freely rescheduled and modified. If the date you’ve selected is unavailable or none of the proposed times fit your needs, your date-specific product will be fully refunded without delay.
About the train:
The Karlštejn pack includes a one-day, round-trip train ticket. That means that on the day of validity, you can board any train from Prague to Karlštejn and from Karlštejn back to Prague. Trains usually leave once every 30 minutes during the day, and once per hour after 7pm.
Prague’s Main train station is within walking distance of Wenceslas square, and the trains themselves are modern and comfy. Naturally, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive set of instructions to make sure everything goes off without a hitch.
Trains are by far the most practical way to reach the castle, as the station is just a short walk away. The parking lot for cars and tour buses is just next door, so overpaying for private transport really doesn’t make much sense.
Karlštejn Opening Hours:
The castle and its tour service are run by the government and are not open every day. Their opening hours are specified in the table below, so please select your tour date accordingly. If you make a mistake or change your mind, don’t worry. Before your reservation is finalized, we can always reschedule or refund your order.
Please note that all tours, orders and deliveries must be scheduled at least 3 days in advance, otherwise we won’t have enough time to make necessary arrangements.
